Leanna Lim is a multidisciplinary designer from Northern California, who developed a passion for art and creative expression at a young age. Growing up, she always had a passion for creating; exploring various forms of art, including traditional fine arts, digital design, fashion, photography, and performing arts throughout her childhood. In sixth grade, she discovered a collaging app and began creating and sharing frequent digital collages of music artists, movies, and quotes, with various photo cutouts, fonts, stickers, and textures. At the time, she did not realize this was her first step to the design world! Her design journey officially began in her senior year of high school, where she took a graphic design class as an elective.
Drawing inspiration from her second-generation Chinese-American background, as well as fashion, music, and her favorite childhood movies, Leanna strives to craft designs that evoke a sense of nostalgia, wonder, and surrealism. Her style is continuously influenced by things around her that she finds emotionally striking and simplistically bold. Beyond design, Leanna can be found exploring various creative outlets such as crocheting, sewing, and cooking.
